FEDERAL MEMBERSHIP AND FUNCTION

The National Federation is an organization composed of state accrediting associations which accredit nonpublic schools. State nonpublic school accrediting associations (henceforth called “Chapters”) may apply for membership in the National Federation.

The National Federation accredits State Chapters, which in turn, accredit nonpublic schools in their respective states. The National Federation does not directly accredit individual schools.
